Female Hormones and Weightloss

Curious about hormonal changes after 40 and the affect it can have on weight loss. Struggling a lot lately and I'm wondering if hormones have anything to do with it.

    Get blood work done.

Unless at 41 you are going through menopause or taking estrogen replacement therapy then its most likely your metabolism has slowed down at 41. Keep eating at a deficit and the weight will come off.

ETA: High estrogen can cause you to gain fat easier and can make you retain water or feel bloated.

Go get your hormone levels tested! I found out that I was estrogen dominant, and since I've been on medication to correct, I've never felt better & the weight (which didn't budge) is coming off.
