Used to hate it, now I love it

What food(s) did you used to hate but know you love, or will at least tolerate? I'll start with a couple:
1) I used to love greens (turnips, collard, etc.) but absolutely hated spinach. Nowadays, I love spinach and will only tolerate greens (e.g. will eat if offered, but would never buy/cook myself)
2) I used to only eat broccoli if it was absolutely smothered in cheese sauce. I still love cheese, but I wouldn't consider putting it on my broccoli now. I'll eat broccoli raw or steamed but I love it as-is with minimal seasoning.
3) Spicy foods: couldn't stand them until I turned 30 or so. Up until a couple of years ago, I used to cut my ketchup with sirachi sauce and order the 2nd hottest sauce at wing restaurants. Unfortunately, the really, really spicy foods now no longer like me! :explode:  :grumble:

I used to NEVER eat veggies. I only remember eating veggies if my mom made me when I was a kid! Now I try to have veggies everyday atleast once a day-and I actually like them!

tried squash for the first time last night-liked it
in recent months tried asparagus-like it

one thing I wont eat is Cauliflower-hate the smell of it-wont try it! LOL

Out of blue, at 35 years old I started liking some dill pickles and green olives, both of which I used to hate. My brain and taste buds got rewired.

The list of what I stopped liking is much, much longer. Once you get used to not eating junk food, it really tastes bad when you try it again.

    asparagus or squash

Those too, actually. Mainly because they hadn't been cooked properly in the past.
