Hi, my food diary blog - ameliasfooddiary.wordpress.com - might give you some ideas. It contains images and recipes of most of my meals and snacks . I try to vary my diet a lot to keep myself from getting bored and I would say a lot of the recipes are really family friendly. Ax0

We eat family meals everyday 7 days a week. We all eat the same meal. Chicken is a staple at our house. we add variety by putting it in different recipes. We also are using chicken sausage and brats. Fish is another item we are introducing to the family as a whole so far kids seem taken with it!
here are a few family friendly ideas
Talapia is versitile and can be cooked many different ways, we side with greens (asparagus usually)
Turkey taco night!! kids love this one
Make your own pizza night (I use Flat outs as my crust kids use either corn or flour tortillas) put on what ever toppings you feel is good. I like mine with fresh spinach, onion, peppers, turkey pepperoni Fat free mozzarella. Also have done bbq chicken and pineapple topping. Kids have a blast putting on all sorts of healthy toppings.
Tonight we make Mild italian Chicken sausage (from costco) mixed with veggies and rice.
I always plug in recipe of dishes figure out what a good serving size may be (tonights was 7.5 cups so i did 7.5 servings)
Kids are expected to eat what is made.0
