Cleared to exercise following surgery, dreading the start-up

In March 2012, I was rear-ended by a bus. I had been losing weight & eating right & exercising for a year at that point, losing over 50 lbs & running several miles several times a week. Unfortunately, the accident caused 2 disc herniations in my neck & I was unable to get in any decent cardio due to pain. I had surgery in December to remove the discs & now am the proud owner of an impressive set of hardware in my neck. :-)

Now, 3 months after surgery, I am finally cleared to exercise again. I'll start C25K (again, ugh) this weekend. I am dreading it. I think I've gotten lazy. But I still have over 40 lbs to lose, and it's not gonna happen by sitting eating bon bons.

I could use some motivation. Thanks!
