Yesterday my husband told me he could tell I was losing weight. When I asked how he said because you done lap is almost gone. For those of you who have never heard that, it means something to the extent of your belly done lapped over your belt. Is that a compliment from him? Haha

I did go to town today and run into someone I hadn't seen in about 10 years. After he stared out me checking me out for a few seconds, he finally spoke to me. That made me feel good to know that someone else is noticing. If only he had seen me 2 years ago before I gained this 30 lbs I am trying to get rid of now! Nevertheless, I am a lot thinner now than I was last time I saw him. I wanted to say "eat your heart out, buddy! You had your chance!"

It's a compliment and it's funny! Some men just don't know how to pay a respectable compliment. In his own way, he did his best to compliment you. AWWW! I'd have cracked up at him

Let's face it, there's no way to tell someone how much thinner they look now without telling them that they looked fatter before.

And - truth be told - it's the standing joke in my family that my husband's major problem is 'Dunlap's Disease' because his belly has done lapped over his belt. But it, too is going. He is also on MFP and is doing great.
