Irritated at food!

ME.. irritated at food? I didn't think that would ever be possible. I work 40 hours a week and since rededicating myself to MFP I feel like I have to take a large amount of food with me to work. I eat breakfast, snacks, and lunch at work and I pack it all almost every day. I didn't realize how much food I would actually have to take with me. It irritates me sometimes. I used to eat out almost every day and it just seemed so much easier but of course that is what got me to where I am today. Does anyone else have this problem or feel this way.

You can eat out if you want to just do research first. I try to keep it simple. I am not a breakfast eater so I make a protein shake and sip on it for a couple of hours for lunch I pack left overs or soup with crackers. Then I go home and cook a yummy dinner with the calories and macros I have left. It has gotten easier over time. Good Luck.

does your work have a fridge?

i go grocery shopping once a week on mondays at the grocery store near the office. i live stuff in my bag in the fridge (it helps insure against people going through your stuff) or i keep healthy non perishable stuff in a desk drawer like a couple of quest bars, low cal/low sodium canned soup, crackers, tea, etc. i also keep a reusable bowl, silver ware and plate in there as well cus i'm fancy like that and like feeling civilized when i eat

some of my coworkers make fun of me because i usually have an assembly line of stuff going on with my lunches . like yesterday i make a salad with spinach, cherry tomatoes, trout and multigrain crackers with laughing cow cheese and chicken breast

I used too. Now it's become my normal. Keeping healthy snacks at work helps to keep down the number of things you have to carry.

I do still get annoyed at needing to carry a gym bag in the winter - running shoes, boots, winter coat, sweats for after since I can't metro home in a sweaty tshirt and shorts. In the summer I can stuff a pair of shorts, sports bra, running shoes, and tank top in my tote bag with everything else.

I still eat out on occassion. I just try not to eat out so much. I do notice I am making better choices when I do eat out. Thanks for the help.
