mom with 9 year old twins and i still look pregnant!

I know how to lose the 100lbs i need to lose. or at less i think i do! lol i just do good till everyone is asleep and then i eat the house down!! Easter chocolate bunny calls my name and i can buy more, so i answer nonon!! i was in such good shape when i was younger so i did whatever and did not take care of my body! i dont know how else to put it! hey if that mountain needed to be climbed then i was the girl! dirt bikes, or any type of ball, or whatever i was ready! then i went snow sledding pulled by a 4 wheel drive truck on a car hood and the driver went too fast, doctors said if my head was hit on that telephone pole instead of my back, it would have been like smashing a watermelon. it took several surgeries to walk again. that was when i was younger. now i am the soccer mom with the mini van and boy/girl twins. lol my back is not so good and as i severed all the muscles in my hip in the accident (took a 7 hour surg to put back) they go out on me all the time! the only way i have ever lost weight was to exercise. cause i love to eat! i am a southern girl! i can cook! i need to go really go slow on the exercise and build up.
so lets learn lots of new recipes and lose this weight!!
i guess this is rambling! sorry!

Sugar, pick one thing. Just one.

    Start there.

    We'll help.

Twins sound like my version of hell on earth - so props to you there. Can't imagine what your sleep quality was for the first 4-5 years.

Mine come one at a time, but they are broken and our first few years are spent making sure everyone survives.

(Supportive hugs and stuff...seriously. Love yourself.)

Welcome:)) You can add me if you would like. Twins..wow:) I have three all under 6 but came at different times so THANK GOD! I am finally about to get the last one out of diapers so there is no going back down that road again! :)) Your accident sounds pretty rough and I must say way to go! How awesome that you recognize the need to get healthy and despite your condition you are still motivated to exercise and work through it!! One day at a time! That is my motto right now..I did so well at first till I slid off the mountain and so now I am trudging back up..it takes time, motivation and great MFP friends to keep you going:) Good luck!!
