Only the ones you complete on a treadmill or stationary bike.

I don't. I have a BodyMedia Fit though that I wear 24/7 so I know I am getting some kind of 'credit' on days that I do more work. I probably wouldn't track it at all normally though. I suppose if you worked as a house cleaner or were on your hands and knees scrubbing floors for most of the day it would be worth tracking, but I just see any extra calories I burn doing chores as a bonus.

I have however thought about wearing my HRM while I'm mowing the grass (push mower) to see what I burn. I work up a sweat!
  • I lost a lot of weight about 4 years ago. Yes I logged housework but only because it actually motivated me to do more, It really got me into the mindset of keeping active. Sometimes you can't go out for a run. Change a few sheets, do some vacuuming ...etc. You'll burn some cals. However once I got into a decent workout routine, I stopped logging housework. It was just a given.
