Seeing as its butter it's prolly not the healthiest. What do the labels say?0 -
As long as they're not loaded with trans fats...use them.0

Butter is never the healthiest thing, but when used CORRECTLY they are a good way to cut down on the amount you use.0

I always use them. They do not work well for cooking/sauteeing but they are fine on breads and stuff. I use a spray that is zero calories and a smart squeeze that is 5 calories (it taste a little more like butter). I highly recommend them. Just read the labels of the ones you are looking at to make sure you get the healthiest of them all.0

If I remember correctly they are made mainly of polyglycerol esters which are used to replace cocoa butter in chocolates,
generally they are safe but I wouldn't take them.0 -
I occasionally use a 1cal spray but only to stop things sticking. If its needed for cooking I use as little as possible olive oil or butter.0

The 1 cal spray we have in the UK comes in many varieties (olive oile/sunflower oil etc) and it's too bad for cooking. It's also less than 1/10th of the calories of a tablespoon of normal olive oil0

Just about any food in moderation and within your goals is fine for you. I use the sprays regularly and (gasp) even add real butter from time to time. I do note that I have read some studies suggesting that real butter (again, in moderation) is healthier for you than the oil-based margarines, etc. Also, the sprays do not have 0 calories, it's simply that the serving size is so small, that FDA regulations allow them to list it as zero since it's less than 5 calories per spray. So, if you're loading up (like 5-10 sprays), add a few calories for it. Enjoy!0

I have been seeing a nutritionist and she recommended real butter as opposed to fake. Like you said, moderation. And the more real foods you eat the better for your body.0

A GP has told us the same. The low fat spreads are full of chemicals, but butter is natural and its better to use a little butter, than more spread!0
