Slowly losing the chunk...in all the wrong places!

Hi folks,
I'm a little (okay, a lot) bummed out and quite frankly, burned out. I have been doing Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones 2x a week combined with some intense cardio 3x a week, and while I have lost a bit of weight, I'm finding that my upper body (e.g., shoulders, biceps, triceps, back) is really coming together and getting CUT, my lower body (abs, butt, thighs, hips) are doing NOTHING. The problem is that my lower body is where I really have problems.
Don't get me wrong - I'm happy that my shoulders and arms look good, but they never really looked BAD - it's my butt, lower abs, and thighs that look like a DISGUSTING cottage cheese factory. Jillian focuses on a total body workout in NMTZ and it KICKS MY BUTT all over when I do it, but I'm just not seeing the progress I think I should be seeing. So I'm frustrated.
I have COMPLETELY revamped my diet. Everything I eat is essentially a 'whole' food and a lean protein. No alcohol, no soda, no sugar, nothing really 'packaged.' I can't believe that my problem would lie with my diet, but maybe I'm wrong.
Should I just keep doing what I'm doing and hope for the best, or does anyone have any suggestions for me regarding this junk in my trunk? I'm getting really BUMMED OUT - I've worked really hard and I feel like it's been for results I don't really want or need.
Thanks in advance.

First off, congrats on staying so motivated even though you are not seeing results in your problem areas. From going through the mfp community, I see this topic posted a lot, where someone is looking to lose weight on certain parts of their body. From what I have gathered from the MFP community is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to spot reduce. You need to just keep up with your healthy meal plan and exercise regime and slowly but surely you will see the results all over, not just specific areas. Remember, slow and steady wins the race!
I know my advice sucks, cause really who wants to wait!! But trust me; it will be so worth it!0
