Hi all I'm Lily! I'm 18 and am only trying to lose a few pounds and tone up with some lean muscle mass. I workout 4-6 days a week depending on work and school and it's usually pretty vigorous. Here are my stats: I weighed 140..started MFP at 136..and am now 133. I'm 5' 9". Have an hourglass shape, I guess, MFP has me at a 1200 a day goal.
So question one) I base my meals around the 1500 calorie a day rule because I know I'm usually under and I burn a lot working out and being on my feet at work. I wear a HRM and my workouts can be anywhere from 350 calories on a crappy day or 950 on a good day. At work I can burn between 600-1000. But by the end of the day MFP tells me I am a ton under my net calorie goal, and my total calories consumed will be anywhere from 900-1200..but I'm not hungry! Should I force myself to eat more? Because I sure don't want to go into this "Starvation mode" I've heard about on here. HELP. And as everyone on here is probably sick of seeing, could someone PLEASE explain this net calorie thing to me?
**Note: I have calculated my BMR RMR and all that but I keep getting different numbers.. I'm just confused!**
