Hi pals!
My boyfriend finally decided to join the healthy eating wagon! The problem is, he is very lactose intolerant. He can handle yogurts ok, and can tolerate a liiiiiittle bit of dairy as long as I warn him ahead of time, so he can take some medication to not get sick. Another issue is that he is super picky. He is content with living off of venison spaghetti, tacos and tortilla pizzas for the rest of his life. Does anyone have any good recipes at home that have worked well with picky kids/husbands, and have little to no dairy? Even some personal favorites that are very healthy that I can try for myself, as I'm guessing we may be making separate dinners on occasion
And as always, looking for friends and accountability pals, so feel free to add me!
Thanks much!

I stick to the basics. Meat, veggies and a side of potatoes, rice or pasta. I'm lactose intolerant and my hubby has a wheat allergy. It's much easier to make the basics as far as cooking and logging.0

Some meat, poultry, or fish seasoned and grilled...side of veg...starch. Eating "healthy" doesn't require a lot of complicated recipes or anything special. Bust out your Betty Crocker cook book or any other cook book for that matter. "Healthy" is a relative term, so you'll have to define that for yourself. For me, my cooking didn't really change much except that I use more olive oil and less butter/heavy cream, etc and I make sure I get my fruit and veg every day. Other than that, I prepare the same stuff I've always prepared...I just eat less of it.0
