Help Please, newbie here

What up guys? i used to be 165 lbs, 8% body fat and was able to bench 200lbs. After a long tiresome relationship i was 235lbs, 29% body fat this january. As of now.... i m 198.4 28% body fat... i would like help and tips on working out since i haven't done it in a DECADE!
1) has anyone used de tox like before starting a workout and weight loss regiment? is that good for you or just way to waste money ? if so which one should i get ?
2) i changed my diet completely so i lost a lot of weight but i want my body fat % to go down as well.... i am making sure not to eat buncha carbs and stuff... any other suggestions?
3) What upper body cardio can i do on days my legs are tired of running and biking? i read that swimming is a great excercise but doesn't help with fat burn.... is this true?
PLEASE ADD ME AS YOUR FRIEND, I REALLY NEED YOU GUYS TO SAVE ME AND RETURN BACK TO MY orginal, confident, attractive self i miss so much :P
