How To Log in One Exercise Broken Up Throughout The Day?

If I walk 45 minutes here, 20 minutes there, another 30 minutes, etc... (not leisure, but breaking a sweat walking) do I log 90 minutes of walking as one walk,or separate it (if it lets me) or add less time? I feel if I am breaking up that time as three walks then it's not quite the same benefit as doing 90 minutes straight. I could be wrong here and it could be a completely moot point.

My moderate walk 3.0mph burns 38 calories in 10 minutes and 380 calories in 100 minutes so it looks like it's pretty even across time. Assuming that, 90 minutes logged all at once should work out to almost the same as 3 separate walks.0

Thanks. It makes sense, even though I still can't wrap my head around how it can burn the same. It just always seem more intense doing a constant long walk vs. breaking it up.0
