Head Lice...

I just got an email from my son's school that the lower grades have had several confirmed cases of head lice.

If my son comes home with lice, I'm putting him up for auction. That's where I draw the damn line.

I had lice when I was little. My mom poured vinegar on my head. Don't ever do that to your poor child if he has lice. NEVER.

    Edit for typo.

We got a letter send home earlier this year but none of my boys got it, thank goodness. I swear I was checking their heads about 10x a day for weeks.

No problem! When lice season comes around I only use teatree shampoo in case my clients ever have it. Dont even bother bringing him to a salon either if he does have it. They arent supposed to touch you if you have it. just a heads up. also, try teatree oil on his pillow and in his hats too. wash all linen in hot hot water

My son's school also says to use hair gel or hairspray on our kids to help keep the lice away. Yep, my 4 year old is stylin' at school!

Honestly, its one of the worst things you can do! The best thing is to not wash ur hair every day. Lice stick, its hard to get them off. If your hair is dirty they tend to slide off.

I'll trade you 2 lice free teenage boys for your younger kid.
Maybe I'll get it right with a different kid.

Also, I like the shaved head thing. Even if they never have lice, at least they'll be properly traumatized.
