Just got my Braces!! Should i still log? What can i eat?

I just got my braces and well, I can't eat anything apart from smoothies pastas and soups... I am eating but im afraid I will be well over my calorie goal... Should I still log or should I wait until I can eat solid foods such as meat and veggies ?
What else should I eat?

    Keep logging!! Bothy soups with lots of mushy vegetables would be the best thing to stay on track.

    I logged the whole time I had braces. It shouldn't be an excuse to pig out and go over cals. I ate a lot of yogurt, smoothies, oatmeal, bananas, eggs, etc.

    Keep logging! You're drinking your calories instead of eating them, and if you don't keep track, you'll end up going in the wrong direction without knowing it.

    Yes, keep logging. I got mine as an adult when I turned 30. It wasn't as bad as I thought. Don't overdo it on the shakes, puddings, etc.
