Burnt out on Salad... Any suggestions

Every day as part of my lunch I have my salad, consists of spinach, mixed greens and 2 tbl of dressing. I'm OVER it, and I know if I can't find an alternative I'm going to stray far from my healthy eating path. Anybody have some good low calorie replacements to the salad? Maybe a greek yogurt dip recipe for veggies? Thanks for the help

I love cucumber, raw brocolli and onion salad with vinegar and italian dressing -- makes a great side dish! Let it marinate over night!0

I try to change my salad about twice per week. I like Taco salad with salsa and a bit of sour cream, greek salad with just a bit of feta and goat cheese salad which is any veggie with starwberries or apple and about 2 Tbsp. of goat cheese. Those are my 3 favorites. I usually eat a huge bowl for lunch and dinner.0

Have you tried spaghetti squash? The same thing happened to me. I ate a salad for lunch everyday for waaay too long. There are only so many combinations. So, instead of using lettuce as a base, I used spaghetti squash. The veggies and proteins that you would have added to a salad you can cook up and add to the squash. Substitute a pasta sauce of your choice for the dressing you put on your salad, and you have a warm meal for close to the same amount of calories as a salad.0

Maybe its because your lad only consists of spinach & mixsed greens. You're sure to get tired of that. How about adding an egg, some avacado, sprouts, feta cheese, broccolli, onions, kale....etc.0

You could mix it up, too. Don't do just a salad every day; you could do some other sorts of veggies (peppers, carrots, cauliflower, etc). You could do fruit. Or nuts. There are other healthy alternatives besides Salad, and while everyone is different, I feel that eating the same thing every day is going to jade you toward your eating habits and make you less likely to continue your healthy eating.0
