Okay, so the other day I walked 9 miles in just under 2 hours, I was wondering if anyone could tell me how fast I was walking. I tracked it as 4.0 mph, do you think that is right?
Thank you

I'll spare you the sarcastic comment about 3rd grade math
9 miles divided by 2 hours is 4.5 miles per hour. That's a pretty good clip. 13.3 minutes per mile
If you want to know exactly how far you walked try this website: Gmap-pedometer.com. Enter your zip code for location and enlarge the map until you can trace your route. It will give you the exact distance to several decimal points. Enter your weight and it will tell you how many calories you burned (based on running not walking) Turn on the elevation and it will give you a graph showing the hills you walked up and down0 -
Or you can download Google Tracks for your smartphone and listen to your music while the app tracks speed, distance, elevation and time for you then uploads the map and route to your home computer.0
