Loose to run

It really hit me hard the other day when I told my brother that I thought I should jog like I used to in the navy and he told me that I was to fat to run yet and reminded me how much my ankle is hurting now just walking. The sad thing is he is right so when can I start jogging again without firstly, no being mocked by people but also, not killing my ankle and joints.

You are in my boat! I am also "way too fat" to jog/run, and a long way from my goal, but working toward that.
I started with walking to Leslie Sansone. I still do the 2 mile video on YouTube every week day.
Then I found a local park with a track that's 1/4 mile around. I walk the curves and jog the straights- slowly! If it hurts, I only jog on one of the straights. Try that for now.
Make sure you stretch before and ice after.0 -

My Physical Therapist had me start doing these when I was rehabbing a tendon problem in my shin. It's amazing how much difference it made for me.0
