Low blood pressure and weightloss

Hello!

I looked all over internet for this topic but it doesn't help.

After I had lost a lot of weight, I was diagnosed with low blood pressure. And ever since, I've struggled like mad, and put back on some weight too.

Lately, I am super motivated to workout and diet strictly, but the thing is I see NO change in the scale. It is SERIOUSLY frustrating...
And I wonder if it has anything to do with my low blood pressure.

Does anyone know about this?

Low blood pressure should definetely be no reason for a weight loss stall. Low blood pressure affects your energy levels and thus maybe the intensity of your workouts, but it does not correlate with weight issues.

As somebody who also suffers from hypotension I concur, it shouldn't affect your weightloss. Make you feel like crap at times - sure, but shouldn't effect weightloss except as said in the sense that with energy levels lower you don't do as much as otherwise possible at the gym.

Also with the decreased energy you may be driving places instead of walking as you would have in the past, take the elevator instead of the stairs, etc. So it MAY have brought down your TDEE, but that's going out on a limb...

Have you checked if it could be a hormonal or endocrinal problem like hypothyroidism?
