Tennis elbow messing up your workout schedule?

just putting this out there -- in case anyone has "new" input re the old tennis elbow issue.......

I lift weights & golf -- which are both problematic for this type of chronic injury. I know laying off a bit + varying technique + various rehab activities are the recommended course (ice, massage area/heat/stretch wrist etc) --but does anyone have any other tips they found helpful? The real drag is this takes months (last time it dragged on for 18 months!) to cure and i dont want to miss golf season or get out of my work-out routine.
