I live in Colorado, which is one of healthiest states in the nation, and yet I feel like such a schlub here. I don't ski, snowboard, bike, or do anything really mountainy. I prefer playing sports, and I do like to hike, but I hate being cold, so when winter and spring come around I go into hiberation. Also, I like to eat...that being said, I have made some changes to my eating habits and I feel like I'm on the right track with that, but it's the whole exercising regularly thing that I seem to have a problem with. I'm on the go quite a bit, so the last thing I want to do when I have free time is exercise.
I need some accountability pals that will remind me that Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will my healthy body. Also, I'm always up for suggestions on the exercising you guys are doing. Currently, I have Tony Horton's 10 minute Trainer and my apartment complex has an elliptical machine that I use here and there, but I'm not in a committed relationship with either. Thinking I'm going to have to join a gym again, which I'm good with. I'm happy to support and motivate you to reach your goals, so let's start making success stories! And, feel free to add me

Hi,
Do you work in a building? Its a good idea either during a break or lunch if you can to walk the stairs. That way even if you don't come throught with the dvd or elliptical machine you have still done a workout. 10 minutes of medium speed stair climbing equal roughtly 85-100 calories.
I just started my weightloss journey in earnest for the 3rd time. It definitely takes time and committment as I'm learning.0 -
I started in January, and while I knew it wouldnt be easy. I can honestly say, I didnt know it would be this difficult either..mentally or physically. However, I'm learning as I go, and my MFP friends are really helping me along the way. Feel free to add me. We can help hold each other accountable.0
