Hi Guys, I was playing around with my settings and selected sugar. I was astonished to see I am WAY Over my sugar goal. Just my blueberries, banana and yogurt put me over the top. I do have a kashi bar at night that fits into my calories but perhaps I should be eating other things. I was just so shocked I kind of feel defeated. I don't want to switch to yogurts with splenda either. Advice, Help, what do you guys eat to stay within your sugar goal???

I want to see the replies to this too. I am always over on my sugar, even on days I eat what I consider healthy. ;-)

There ae different typesof sgars that are good. Lactose is a sugar from milk.. It's better for you than let's say a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup's sugar. I Keep my jellies and jams Sugar Free, breakfast syrup is sugar free. Seriously, I always go over if I have a glass of milk or two during the day.. But it's not the bad kind of sugar. Stayaway from processe sugarry sweet stuff.. Stick with your blueberry, banana sugar.. Your body can process and use that stuff.

The last sugar thread turned into a huge fight. This should be interesting!

Fruit and milk sugar is different then refined sugar. I wish this site would be able to track the difference. As long as you are not eating chocolate and candy all day you should be fine!

I'm always over on my sugar as well. I'm just trying to keep it as low as possible by trying to cut down on the things that appear to have high sugar content. And I figured that as long as I keep exercising then a little sugar isn't going to be all bad.

While I was pregnant I turned diabetic and the specialist told me that as long as I exercised after a meal, like going for a walk - nothing too strenuous, then it would kick in my insulin which would control the blood sugar levels so that's the advice I follow.
