New to MFP

Hello everyone! I am new to MFP. I used SparkPeople for awhile, but stopped for no particular reason. Am hoping that I can stay active on this site as I am looking at finally focusing on myself.

I usually put everyone else in front of my own needs and this has caused me to gain weight and keep it on, plus does not help my depression at all.

I have just started the 17 day diet again. I did the first 17 days about 2 years ago and felt amazing, so figured I would try again to learn to eat better. I have only been doing this for 5 days... Am already starting to feel better. Don't know if the pounds are falling off as I haven't added exercise and haven't gotten on the scale (plan on doing this once a week).

I am hoping to find friends that can support me through my plan to get healthy and focus more on my needs. I have some stressful situations I am dealing with.... who doesn't? I am getting ready for a move as well across the country, so any help with this and staying on track is great!
