17 down and starting over

                    Hello, my name is Jody.  When I started my weight loss and healthier lifestyle journey my goal was to lose 40 pounds in 8 months.  So far I have lost 17.  and am just about half way though my time line(Wahoo)  Now I feel like I have hit a sort of speed bump and a friend of mine introduced me to MFP.  I love it, it is so helpful, it's so easy to keep track of what your doing and eating.  I want to finish out my goal on time, any suggestions as to how to get over this little hiccup I seem to be in?
