your diary is not public so it's hard to know what you are eating. Are you logging everyday faithfully, and everything you eat (even a bite of something or the "bad" stuff) I don't put it in my mouth until I put it in the app.
Are you using "empty" calories (such as sodas?)
Also have you looked at your sodium, sometimes you can take in more than you realize.
WATER you need to drink it everyday all day.

and finally 1 pound a week is NOT bad weight loss, in fact that is the best way to lose...slow. So you've only been at this about 12 weeks and you've already lost 11 pounds!! You shouldn't be discouraged at all.

It took most people years to become over weight, please remember that when trying to drop it.
Just keep on keeping on!! You are welcome to friend me.

That is a perfect amount to be losing! It means you will find it so much easier to keep the weight off for the rest of your life. Do it fasteer you you have much less chance of this. Good work, keep going!!!

Hey! I'm not going to lie, 11 pounds in 2 1/2 months is really good! The toughest thing for me to get in my mind was that this isn't a 'diet', meaning it isn't something that I am going to do for a few months, drop weight really quickly and resume my old eating habits. That was what made me yo-yo up and down in weight for a long time. This is about making small changes and taking baby steps towards having a healthy and active life. The way that you lose the weight is the way that you will maintain it. So if you eat whole, healthy foods, exercise moderately, try to reduce stress and drink plenty of water, you will find that over time you will lose weight and look leaner, feel great and most importantly STAY healthy! It's not a race, it's a lifelong process. Feel free to add me if you would like :flowerforyou:

As others have said, that's about a pound a week which is nothing to be ashamed of; that's a very healthy rate to be losing weight! Think of it this way -- you put on that weight over several years, right? Not fair to think it will magically come off in a couple of months.

    Losing weight is hard.

    Losing weight sucks.

Losing weight is a physical and mental struggle like nothing you've done before.

But accomplishing your feats will likely be one of the best feelings of your life, and will help you feel better in general. Keep it up, you're doing fantastic, and if you'd care for some support feel free to add me!

Heather, you are doing an awesome job! Please stay encourage because the alternative is to gain and I know you dont want that. Especially when you have worked so hard. And I know you have because every single pounds costs so much. I am so happy for you to have lost 11lbs. Just keeping going. We can do it. Ive lost 7.2 during the same time frame so I understand the struggle. Hold on!

I also am working out 4-5 times a week and have lost a total of 10.5 since Jan. 1. ; ) Hard to be patient, isn't it! Maybe we need to all stop watching Biggest Loser, LOL. I am proud, I have to say! It's been quite an effort! Keep at it!
