Ok, so the game goes like this.

You name a famous person e.g. Ben Affleck. The next person much then name a famous person beginning with the letter A etc.

For more obscure references, also state what they are famous for.

If the person is known by a single name, such as Madonna, then you use the last letter of that name.

If the person is more well-known by an alias or stage name then either name is acceptable.

Try not to repeat the same person (obviously hard in this context!)
