I'm almost at the end of the 30 ds and not sure if i've seen a massive difference. my endurance has definately risen but i can't see a massive difference in my body. my weight has not dropped by more than 2lbs and the only difference i can see is a few inches off my body but not a lot of definition in my arms or anything, and these workouts esp level 2 had me sweating!
I've read hundreds of reviews online that ripped in 30 is much better? has anyone done that and 30ds and do u recommend it?
I'm also ordering a hrm when i get home from work tnyt so that i can measure myburned calories a bit more accurately.
I really want to see a difference! I watch what I eat, workout every single day including other exercises/circuits alongside the 30ds and just am not seeing results like i thought I would..n i was realistic about it too!

i never lost weight with any of her dvd's but i did lose inches. not a lot of inches but some. i have done 30ds 3 times ripped in 30 twice and i am doing 6week 6 pack now for the 1st time. i love 6w6p the best but i got the best results from 30ds.how much do you have to lose, that maybe why... i know when i started i was looking for massive results after the 30 days b/c of so many others results but i only had a 20 lbs weight loss goal, so my results weren't spectacular....0

I did the opposite of you where I started with Ripped in 30 and am now on 30DS, but had similar results. I only lost a couple lbs which was pretty dissappointing but i did feel like my body definately got more toned. Now I've been doing 30DS for a couple weeks now and have lost 5 more lbs already. I kind of think that the reason I only lost a couple lbs is because my body was changing a lot and was gaining a lot of muscle0

I did Ripped in 30 after 30DS last summer and I loved it. I used 5lb weights for it too, as opposed to the 3lb weights I used during 30DS, and I noticed lots of changes. She recommends to do Ripped in 30 5-6 days per week, so I usually did 5 days a week, plus a short run (20 min or so) or bike ride a couple days a week and had great results.0

I have 30lbs I wna lose! I can feel myself getting stronger but not many other physical differences. I think ill order the ri30 n up the weights I use n really kik my own butt!!
Ive done 30ds pretty much everyday alongside other circuit training, strength training and/or step machine!0 -
Well, I mainly lost inches from the 30days shred and barely a few pounds. After that, I just doubled level 3 and went on with that for a couple of months - which after a while, and quite drastically, has made me lose some good 9-10 pounds. And to be honest, despite doubling my routine, ripped in 30 still kicked my butt at the beginning. I'd say go for it !
EDIT: But I did see quite some definition on my side :P0 -
I've done 30 day shred and last December I did doubles of 30DS & ripped (shred morning, ripped PM) and ripped is definitely harder and better in my honest opinion. Especially when I hit week 3 and 4 of ripped, and doing level 2/3 of level shred. As I was doing it the shred felt like my easy workout and ripped was my hard one
I've not done ripped by itself but if you like 30ds you'll love ripped, or at least I did.
ETA - I got fab results with doing the doubles, I didn't lose on the scales but the inches I lost were awesome0 -
Did you take before and after pictures? A lot of times when it's a gradual change, even over 30 days, it's hard to see because you see your body every single day. I always take before and afters, and even though I don't think i changed much I actually did.
Also, with regards to your weight: Muscle weighs more than fat, so you might not be losing as much as you had been. But building the muscle is definitely worth it! Even though you're not losing tons of weight your body fat % is probably dropping like crazy. Don't put everything into the scale. Good luck(:0 -
Aww thanks guys! I forgot to order it today because I was watching comic relief n just got in bed as im on the early shift at work tmrw but im Definitely going to order it tomorrow.
I Took a few pics but not many, I think il compare those early ones to when I complete the shred and to get best results will mix up ripped in 30 with the shred!
Nervous which sounds silly but so excited too!
GOod luck to you all too!!0
