    I use any of the following, depending on the move:

    3 lb, 5 lb, 8 lb and 12 lb.

    For example:
    For the plank rows in level 3, I will use 12's.
    For the squat to a press in level 1, I will use 5's.
    For the side lunges with shoulder flies, I will use 3's.

    I used 3 & 5lb weights for the shred depending on the exercise. Now I'm doing her ripped in 30 and shred with weights together for a 60 minutes workout using 5 & 10lb weights.

    thanks so much everyone for the advice, see between 5 and 8 are the main ones around here. Started the workout yesterday and yea think i've made the right choice going for 2 and half lbs until I get into it, i may do this round of 30 days with this weight and work it up to 5 for the next or if i find it getting easier earlier, but wow i really underestimated how tough it is, very doable but my muscles are aching!
    But i've seen some incredible results on here from people that have stuck with it and can see why now,..anyway thanks again for advice :).
