low carb?

I have 32 pounds to lose and decided to join MFP. I have tried Atkins, Weight Watchers (flex was the best), Eat Clean Diet, everything. I am sick of dieting and cutting out foods. However, it seems every ad on tv, every tip in a magazine, everywhere I look someone is telling me cutting back (not completely) will help with weight loss. Is this true? Has anyone finally started losing weight after cutting back on carbs? Let me know if this has helped you. Thanks.
