Home exercise videos for older women?

Hi all,
My mom (almost 60) is looking for a home exercise video program. She has neck and back problems so it can't be something that is too high impact or can't be modified. She's not too out of shape and probably has 15-20lbs to lose. She used to be very athletic, so she's capable of most exercises that don't put too much strain on her neck/back.
I'm hoping that she'll get lots of great recommendations from you all.
Thanks a lot!
-Her loving daughter (:

Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds DVD's might be something she'd like.0

I have a DVD called Yoga for a strong and healthy back. Mine is from Yoga Zone, but in kne there are others.
One low impact option is Walking Away the Pounds - there is even one of those available on YouTube, so she could see if she likes it.
Another low impact option is chair aerobics. I know that fitness blender has at least one workout online that really gets the heart moving.
Eventually, she should probably add a strength component, as it would have even more bone benefits than a daily dose of calcium.0 -
I second the recommendation of Leslie Sansone. Any of her products would work!0

I'm in my 60's and when I first started on here I started with Leslie Sansone's DVD's--all of the walking ones are great. After I lost some of the weight was able to move on and now I run, lift weights and even do the Jillian Michael Shreds. Actually, I think I saw recently that Leslie Sansone now has one that is especially made for the seniors.0

I have never used these but Jodi Stoloves has a chair dancing/aerobic DVD that may be safe for back problems or She may like water aerobics. You can also google Very low impact workouts for seniors.0

I agree with the other Ladies, Leslie Sansone Walk at Home is perfect. I use for light workout.0

I may recommend the "10 mins workout" from beachbody.com0

A friend let me borrow her Leslie Sansone Walking DVD geared toward seniors.
I am embarrassed to admit that those 80-year-old, gray-haired ladies kept right on moving while I was huffing and puffing.
I need to give it another try. Six weeks later and I think I might be able to keep up with them now. LOL
