for those who hit their goal. Do I up my calories by 200 or 300 or what? How do I maintain. I know I should not stay at 1200. Just hit goal weight, I am 59 and am happy to stay weighing in 160s. WW wanted me 145 but I look better a little heavier. I may just have to play with it, but dont want to be in the starvation thing I have heard about.

first of all congrats on hitting your goal weight! i hit mine about 2 months ago. making the transition into maintenance is actually rather difficult (mentally especially). to maintain you should calculate your TDEE - heres a link - http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ or scoobys link which is my fav - http://scoobysworkshop.com/accurate-calorie-calculator/
once you have found this number it is an AVERAGE or approximation of what your maintenance calories would be.
since you have been eating quite a low amount of calories you will likely gain back some water weight (this happened to me), but you have to stay strong and not let it get to you.
increasing by about 100 - 200 a week is a good goal to help your body get used to recieving the nutrients it has been denied for a prolonged time (and helps you mentally adjust).
when you get to about 200 calories from your TDEE you should weigh in each week to make sure your weight is remaining relatively stable to find the maintenance level. if after a couple of weeks you find your weight is fluctuating simply cut calories by the amount you increased by before you started gaining.
like i said earlier it is a mental challange because your body will retain more water and will need time to adjust to recieving the proper amount of nutrients. good luck. x

Congrats on hitting your goal weight!!! I upped mine by 200 when I hit my goal weight and then weighed in after a few weeks to make sure I was still maintaining :)
