Walk Away the pounds 4/22 - 4/25/10

Hello all,
I am doing a extended thread so it will cover through Sunday. Sorry I did not get on sooner my dd had speech therapy this morning and we then took a walk to the park, so I have in about 2 miles on the day so far.
It works great on the way there because I push the stroller so my pace is faster but on the way home she wants to push so it is a little slower, she pushes for about 3 blocks then I take over.
I hope everyone is having a great day and we are one day closer to Friday which is great. Anyone have any big plans this weekend?
We will be starting to pack boxes because we are moving apartments at the end of June to a nicer 2 bedroom 2 bath cant wait!!!!!
Well gotta run for now have to get little one down for a nap.

Do you like Walk Away the Pounds?? I was considering to try it, but I was hoping for feedback from others first.. Seems like an easy, low impact way to get some exercise.. Thanks for your thoughts..0

Over slept this morning, got in 2 miles and will go for atleast another 2 after dinner! Hope everyone has a great day and does their best to get their miles in!!0

I love the WATP work out, it is low impact but trust me it gets you moving they have up to 5 mile work out and they add arms and abs in. It just depends which work outs you do. Plus it is nice since I live in ND, it helps during the winter.

Didn't get in any walking today but wanted to post so I could find the thread over the weekend. I have such a terrible head cold I just couldn't walk the walk today. Maybe by the weekend.0

Well I did not get in my afternoon walk however I did walk to the store and back to pick up some items for meals tomorrow. But I want a better day tomorrow so I go into the weekend on a good note.
Sandy - dont worry we all have days like those just try to pick it up again tomorrow. I hope you have a great friday.
Cindy- Nice work on getting your two miles in this morning hope you got to go for your walk tonight. Keep up the great work you are doing wonderful.

Didn't get my second walk in yesterday but back on track today! 3 1/2 miles this morning and feeling much better... was just in a weird funk yesterday, had to get it out of my system!! Woot Woot, here we go!!0

My usually 3 1/2 this morning, very sore after my 30 day shred video yesterday! Don't know what kind of exercise the rest of the day will hold, have to do 7 people's hair for a wedding today! Might not have any hair left myself........... Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!0

I did a 30 minute WATP. I didn't realize I had a workout that I'd never done. It was on one of my DVD's that has multiple workouts so I had a fresh walk. Still got a cold but feel better since I missed 2 days walking.0

A Happy Sunday to everyone. Well, it's Not a very pretty day here in Eastern NC, galeforce winds and off and on rain... so no walk this morning but did put in 20 minutes on the eliptical machine and another 20 on the stationary bike. Better luck to me for the rest of the week!0

Cindy - Nice work getting time in on the eliptical and bike, I hope your weather has turned around down there didnt sound like you guys have a very good weekend.
Sandy - WATG on your walking glad you are feeling better.
I am feeling refreshed this morning got up and got me and my dd a wonderful and healthy breakfast so we are starting the week out on a great note.
Hoping to be able to go to the park with here later if it warms up a bit but have plenty to do around the apartment if not, need to get some major cleaning done so we can start slowly packing for our move in June. It is going to be time to purge and get rid of anything we do not use. I can say there will be many baby clothes going to good will, I have not done it for about a year so we have lots of clothes my daughter has out grown.
Well better run she is almost done with breakfast but hope you ladies have a great Monday.

Good Morning all,
Hope your day went well yesterday, today is a new day and a new start for me. I am going to be setting mini weight goals and weekly workout goals.
My workout goal this week is 30 min of cardio 5 days a week and at least 30 min of other fun activity with my daughter 6 days a week.
As for my mini weight loss goals they are as follows
May 1st - 219
June 1st - 210
July 15th - 199
We leave on the 17th of July for vacation in yellowstone and I want to be out of the 200's by then, plus I figure while in Yellowstone my eating my be off course some but I can get plenty of excersice whil there.

Yeah,
Got my 3 mile walk in today at a very brisk pace but feel so refreshed now. Just have to hit the shower befor my little one gets up and pick up before company stops by tonight.
