What's the best fish to eat?

I feel like something other than chicken or turkey for dinner tonight. I am out right now (at the gym! lol) and don't have a lot of time to research what's the healthiest to eat. I'm sure it's probably salmon, and I'll eat it because I know it's good for me, though I don't love it. What are some other good healthy kinds of fish to broil? Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

I so love Tilapia, much better than Salmon. It's not as fishy as Flounder and not as fatty as Salmon. Just love to broil or bake it and then put a little salsa on it.0

But for times when you’re caught without that data, here’s a simple list of the healthiest fish to keep in your head:
1. Albacore Tuna (Canada, U.S.)
2. Arctic Char (farmed)
3. Atlantic Mackerel
4. Rainbow Trout (farmed)
5. Sablefish/Black Cod (Alaska, Canada)
6. Sardines (U.S.)
7. Wild Salmon (Alaska)
The Monterey Bay Aquarium and EPA have rated these as the most healthful—not just for you, but for the ocean, too. All are high in heart-healthy omega-3s and low in contaminants, and are fish whose fishing or farming methods have minor impacts on the environment.
According to the Natural Resources Defense Council, the healthiest fish with the lowest levels of environmental contaminants (least mercury) are:
Anchovies Butterfish Catfish
Clam Crab Crawfish/Crayfish
Croaker (Atlantic) Flounder Haddock (Atlantic)
Hake Herring Mackerel (N. Atlantic, Chub)
Mullet Oyster Perch (Ocean)
Plaice Pollock Salmon (Canned)
Salmon (Fresh) Sardine Scallop
Shad (American) Shrimp Sole (Pacific)
Squid (Calamari) Tilapia Trout (Freshwater)

In terms of fish, some of the fish with the highest fat/oil content ARE the healthiest and contain the highest concentration of Vitamin D, Omega 3 fats.
Salmon is a powerhouse of Omega 3 and loaded with good fat and protein, as well as vitamin D.
If you don't like salmon, your best bets are fishes or crusteaceans that are wild caught - Pacific / Atlantic. Tinned fish is okay, but can be high in sodium.0 -

Definitely tilapia!!! Throw some seasoning on top (even just salt & pepper will do - then squirt lemon juice on it once it comes out of the oven) and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.0

Tilapia is good and Ive been enjoying alot of Cod as well. Also Dr. Doogie is right Salmon is very good for you the fat in salmon is not the same as a deep fat fried twinky.0

I like Basa fillets. They are like Tilapia. I bake them in the oven with some lemon and herb spice0
