I just started putting hard boiled eggs on my salads the other day. I like eggs, but I never realized the flavor eggs add to a salad.
Does this make me CRAZY!?

    I LOVE hard-boiled egg on salad! Adds a protein punch, too.

    Eggs creep me out if I think about what they are too much, and at the same time, i LOVE them!

    I'm not eating eggs at the moment but for those of you that are . . . try adding sliced black olives to your egg salad. OMG :love:

    I don't know why anyone would think that's crazy, I see it all the time. I like eggs, mushrooms, and peas on my salad. But when I don't have the ingredients, a nice caesar salad with Romaine lettuce will do.

    no you're not crazy. i do that all the time, love eggs in my salads.

    infact i am at work now and that's exactly what i have in freezer for my lunch today :)

    Eggs have been a salad garnish for well over 100 years. Seems like there is a salad that had a raw egg broken over the top.

    I also used to put a poached egg on top of a garden salad. When the yolk is broken it runs into the salad and is delicious!

    I do this a lot too. My favorite salad has two boiled eggs and a can of tuna dumped on top of baby spinach, feta, snap peas and cherry tomatoes.
