Apart from running, the next highest calorie burn per hour for me is Spinning.0

Mayo Clinic has a chart on their website.

One of my favorites isn't on the list - the elliptical.0 -
what spine issues? i was going to say interval training but if you have spine issues, then maybe that's not a good idea.
i would say swimming or spinning.0 -
scoliosis0

I also have scoliosis & a upper spinal fusion - I do weight lifting, elliptical, running, walking, stair climbing/arc trainer, circuit training and zumba. I only have issues w/ things like crunches and similar, or due to my arthris (fusion was done @ age 11 - now 36) i have trouble w/ things like burpees.0

anything cardio related will burn a 'lot' of calories.
You can't run, so swimming, cycling etc should yield you a pretty respectable bang for your buck.0 -
I do about an hour or so on the crosstrainer thingy (when the arms move as well) Very low impact but I burn 1000 in like 70 mins. ( FAST SONGS ARE KEY) LOL :-)0

If your goal is to burn calories through cardio exercise, it doesn't matter what you do; only what your heart rate is while you’re doing it. For me if I keep my heart rate at about 112, I'll burn 10 or 11 calories every minute of exercise. With my heart rate up around 135, I’ll burn 14 or 15 calories per minute. Some say that it’s better to exercise at the lower heart rate because it will burn more calories from fat, but it you do the math that’s simply not true, it just dosent outweigh the 40% more total calories (and calories from fat) you burn with the elevated heart rate. If you’re feeling fatigued, or you feel one exercise is kicking your *kitten* more than another, that’s your muscles that you don’t regularly use saying wtf. The bottom line is one cardio exercise isn’t better for weight loss than another. It's all about heart rate.0

Spinning. BUT if you do heavy lifting, you will burn more ACROSS THE DAY because of it. Do that!0

Rowing machine - uses 80 % of all muscle groups.
A properly executed row works leg biceps, leg triceps, calves, buttocks, lower abs, upper abs, lower back, obliques, upper back (lats), neck (traps), rear shoulder (deltoids), outer deltoids, triceps, biceps, and forearms. It even hits the front deltoids and lower pectorals to some extent.0 -
I found the biggest calorie burner I've done is snowshoeing, I have been doing 30 day shred and I burn about 180 calories including warm up and cook down0

My thoughts exactly, a bit like the particularly loud mouthed gal at my old place of work who said that zumba burnt 1000 cals a session. Yes....right....0 -
Walking on the treadmill as fast as you can, with the incline up above 10%.0
-
Crank the treadmill incline to 11 and run as fast as you can.0
