In good news...I am getting "the comments" more and more. Not just "wow, look how much weight you've lost"...but "Wow, you are melting!!"....or "Jeeze Tami, you are wasting away....Eat!!"
It's great but I kind of wonder where the "eat" part comes from. I mean, YES I am thinner and look better but I am STILL in the high 190s!! Hardly "svelte" yet. I have always held my weight well, even when I was 270, my friends didn't think I looked it. I think I just turned the table. You know how when you are bigger, you lose and you do look better but you are still lumpy?? Like the lumps are smaller but still there...and then you hit the point where the lumps are smoothing out and your figure is suddenly there again..I think it's a shock to people and they suddenly say "eat!!", because they aren't used to seeing you without lumps!
Am I making sense at all?????!! LOL!!

That is so great!!! It is always so nice to have people notice. I ran into an old boss at the BX and he didn't even recognize me at first. It was nice!!0

great job! It is always great motivation when you hear of others success! Keep up the good work!:flowerforyou:0

I always get a good laugh out of you lol. But yeah I know what you mean. A friend I had after I dropped 60 lbs always called me skinny minny and asked me if I was starving myself. Meanwhile I still weighed 160 (less then I am now thanks to my new baby). I sometimes get sick of hearing "wow you don't look like you weigh that much"0

peejbp I totally agree! I always hated the "compliment" of how little it looks like I weigh. If I'm pouring myself into a size 16, I'm not tiny, no matter what people say!0

I hate it when people say (and they are almost always skinny) "you don't need to lose weight!" What? Are you blind? I always say, "well the BMI calculator says I do!" I never know how to respond to that.0

Yeah, I don't get it. I mean, I am hardly skinny!! Like I said, it's probably just the shock of seeing you weigh so much less that makes them make the comment to eat. Even though I am not at my goal yet, I do look a lot different than I did 71 lbs ago!0

My favorite is you carry your weight well you don't look like your over 170 pounds.I kept hearing that over the years and I guess I got too comfortable with my weight. No more I see what the BMI tells me and I'm more determined then ever to get back to the way I wanna be,heathier, more energy and get plain happier. Keep working hard and stay possitive0
