Home raised meats, questons....

I raise our own pigs and chickens. Some of our chickens are egg gals, other are meat birds. I know I feed all of my animals better than factory farmed animals. Plus mine are happily raised in sunshine and fresh NH air. My question is....what are anyone's thoughts on the nutrient values? I am asuming they are different. I know for a fact they are better :) SHould I just use the general calorie info in the databank on here? I cant figure anyother way to do it. For example, I am eating a three egg white omelet with green onion an cheese with a side of bacon right now. I know getting all nit-picky over calories/nutrients is not a good way to live, its just been an on going question in my mind about out home raised food. Another example, my bacon is smoked.....not salted. I can assume the sodium level would be different than store bought stuff, right? LOL I swore when I started paying great attention to what I eat that there was no way on Earth that I would skip out on the amazing foods I grow here!!!

Why the hell would you have your own chickens but then only eat the egg whites? That's the most wasteful, unhealthy thing I've ever heard. All the nutrients and healthy Omega-3 fats in home raised chicken eggs, why wouldn't you eat that?

Ha Ha, I have egg whites only and use the yolks for other things. NOTHING gets waisted here. I have seemed to end up having less of a taste for the yolk in the past year or so. Not sure why, but I only eat what Ilike. Its a good thing I live with all men who eat any foods I hrow at them.
