Eat before or after workout??

    Most on here will say personal preference but for me personally I eat prior to and right after. Prior to to give me some energy for my workout and right after (a protein shake) for recovery.

    5-6 small meals throughout the day is usually recommended.

    Eat a light meal or snack a couple hours before working out and then eat your meal after. I ate a full meal a few hours before working out and got sick.

    I enjoy fasted cardio and lifting if I can go in the morning. PT says it is better for fat burn.

    This was believed to be true in the past but newer data indicated that it is slightly worse for fat burning. The difference either way is not significant but there is no advantage to train fasted.

    This. Meal timing has been proven to be mostly myth. Hit your calories and macros and you'll be fine.
