So I've been making green smoothies for breakfast for about 2 weeks now. I recently switched from spinach to baby spinach and have found that no matter how much fruit I put in it, it still taste like a spinach smoothie not a fruit one. But before it was fine. Has anyone else had this happen?

Never had it happen myself as I just eat the danged spinach, although there is a simple solution to your dilemna.
Hopefully, no one would be so obtuse as to force another to point it out.

I don't make smoothies but I always put spinach in my salads. I can't tell the difference between regular and baby. I buy regular because it's cheaper and just comes in a bunch instead of a sealed plastic bag.

Baby spinach is just young spinach leaves so I would think mature leaves might have a stronger taste. I like spinach but I just eat it.

I use baby spinach because its a bit milder, and the leaves are more tender. Actually...we use it for everything from smoothies to omelettes. Love it !

I love them both! Baby spinach is my substitute for lettuce, and regular spinach is for dinner.
