Hi,
I just joined My Fitness Pal this past month and I am losing weight!! And it hasn't cost me a cent!!
When I was first told about My Fitness Pal I was sceptical as I have tried almost every diet plan out there and put out thousands of dollars. Last month my husband I were watching a documentary about sodium content in our diets. The next day I was sitting in my dentist's chair and she and her assistant were talking about MyFitnessPal. Before I left they loaded on my iPhone. I came home and downloaded it to my computer.
I took one week to track what we were eating....did not look at anything else just took what we ate and entered it in the tracker. Then last weekend I printed off the daily trackers for my hubby and me. We could NOT believe the sodium and carbs we were eating.
Last weekend I was determined to make some adjustments. This week we looked at cutting down on sodium and carbs. We didn't change the calories just adjusted prep of food and deciding on canned or fresh. I am down 6.2 lbs in one week!! And this was not looking at weight loss, this was looking at cutting sodium and carbs.
Cant wait to see in the next few weeks what will happen when I look at this as a weight loss program and cut some calories!!!
I welcome everyone to follow my blog as I journey through the next year. I have 160 lbs to lose to get down to where I was when I got married 36 years ago. Here we go, and like everyone else I could use some friends and a cheering section. You help me and I'll help you, I love being a cheering section to improve someone's life!!
