I just learned of this today and they are sold out for orders shipping in June. Anyone know if they will sell them in June as well to those who missed out? Can't find the answer anywhere about it.

I purchased one and have been looking around for info on ship date information.

I came across a Self magazine article here - http://www.self.com/blogs/flash/2013/03/fitness-amiigo-tracker-records-activity-your-heart-rate.html - where they say that if you weren't able to get in on the startup orders for June, it will be available later this year at a higher price.

It is a largely unproven item. I haven't come across any reviews other than the people who designed it. So, it might work out for the best that you'll get to learn of the actual performance before making a purchase decision. It does look promising though and I'm looking forward to trying it out!

Also, I'm not sure what you're looking for in a fitness tracker, but Bodymedia who makes those BodyBugg like devices is coming out with a new device in August/September called the Core 2 that will be waterproof and the size of a quarter. I've always felt their current model is too bulky and kind of ugly. The new one has different arm band options including a metal jewelry like one. It could be a good option too if you're going to wait a bit.
