We all know the lunar phases govern the tides and farmers garden based on these phases. Since we are mostly made up of water, it stands to reason that the moon may affect us too. Much of success in life relies on good timing. Here are simple ways you can begin to incorporate lunar timing into your life and align yourself with the natural rhythm and harmony of the earth:

New Moon: Best time to begin or initiate new projects or workout routines with gusto. It's a fertile time that farmers call "wet" and plant seeds.

Second quarter or waxing: Best period for growth, also good for planting and starting new things.

Full Moon: A climactic time! Culmination of the "seeds" you planted during the first two quarters come to fruition. Can be an electric time period for people (hence the phrase "lunatics"). Can feel like something is coming to a head or ending.

Fourth Quarter or waning: A time for rest. Collect the harvest, prune, transplant and prepare for next cycle.
