My small victories this week

So.....the last 14 days have been really trying. My sister's bachelorette party/ bridal shower 4 hours away - a family friend passing away - driving home to Columbus - craziest day of work in my life last Thursday - husband's grandfather passed away last Thursday - drove 4 hours back home - got back this past Tuesday - spent the last 2 days straight at work.

And still managed to lose 0.4 pounds! Not much...........but at least not a gain! And with all the eating out we've done in the last week....I admit - I was shocked!

But the biggest shocker came tonight. My hubby & I went to Chipotle for dinner. Normally, before, I would eat my whole burrito bol and a few handfuls of chips - no problem. I thought I would tonight, too, because I was HUNGRY! But about halfway through....I pushed it away. I was FULL!

I don't know if my body is just getting used to the smaller amounts of food, or if I'm actually LISTENING to my body for the first time in a long time - it was a great observation! Hard to overeat when your body just won't let you!

Thanks to you ALL - this crazy journey I'm on with all of you is so much fun and you all encourage me so much :drinker:

Happy-almost-Friday!

Sorry to hear about all of the stressful events. That is great about you feeling full half way through! I have been noticing the same thing! I think our stomachs are shrinking.
