Should I restart CLX again?

Hi, I'm looking for some advice from people who have done chalean extreme. I'm about 6 weeks in but I didn't do any of the cardio. I have not done anything for about a week and have decided I want to do the 5 days a week now but I'm wondering if I should start again or should I just carry on where I am but add in the cardio? Obviously I want good results so I'm trying to work out what to do!

I'm doing CLX now and if I were you I would start fresh. That way you truly get all the benefits from the program.0

I don't think it's necessary to start over. I'm 9 weeks in myself, and I think the most important part of CLX is the strength-training. I've missed the Burn It Off/Recharge cardio session for three weeks for various reasons -- not least of which is just that I don't like it very much! I prefer the Burn Intervals. But, at the same time, I'm enjoying the program enough that I'm not thinking in terms of 90 days and then it's over forever. I'll probably continue it in some form even when I finish up Lean in three weeks.
If you want to work in the cardio, just go ahead and start now. If it were me, I'd feel more frustrated by starting over completely. You can always throw in an extra month of "Lean for Life" with the cardio and get the same number of cardio sessions as you would if you were to start over now.0 -
I would probably keep going and just add in the cardio now. The weights and going heavy are the most important part. I rarely did the cardio that came with CLX. I borrowed it from a friend and only had one of the cardio discs anyway. I do love the one dvd I have though. Although not as fun at Turbo Fire which is what I now use as cardio. Just go heavy with your weights and you will see great results!!!0

I rarely do her cardio. . .sometimes the Burn intervals on a Saturday morning. Otherwise, I run for my cardio. Haven't noticed it negatively impacting my outcomes. Lifting stronger & heavier. Pants fit well. . . life is good! If you want to start over, start over. If you want to just add the cardio at this point you can. It's really a win-win proposition.0

I have not done that program, but I've done C25K. I took a break from that (like 2 weeks) and had the same question. I took a risk and started where I left off, just ran at a slower pace. And I was able to do it. It won't hurt anything for you to TRY to start where you left off. If you can't do it, maybe go back a week, but it is not necessary for you to have to start the whole program over. Good luck!0

I started CLX in January. It has taken me 60 days to complete 30 days of it due to being very very ill for 10+ days, traveling for meetings out of state, and family visiting and injuring my back. I am just keeping on. I found that after my 10 day illness when I returned (fully healthy) I upped my weights and my cardio got better. Maybe my body just needed the rest. I love the cardio portion especially the extra bonus Fat Burner that is Turbo Fire. I think it's like 45 mins. I will do that workout just to cheer myself up! I would just continue on and add in where you can and what you like. But if you want to start over it certainly won't hurt anything. Either way you are winning! Best of Luck with CLX!!0
