Nutrition help and Insanity

So I just finished up on week 5 of Insanity yesterday. I am NOT losing weight or inches. I wear a HRM every time I work out, and eat back every bit of my "exercise" calories (and then some), but I'm stuck, and have been stuck for the last 3 weeks. Super frustrating. I drink usually around 80oz of water a day, but out most processed foods, and try to keep my macros around 40/40/20. I eat 3 meals a day with at least 2-3 snacks (my food diary is "open"). Help?

i know you said you eat your calories back... but you're only getting 1,200/day... is 1,200 your GROSS or your NET?
cuz girl, if you're only eating 1,200 cal total and you're doing insanity, it's no wonder. you have to eat more.0 -
I agree with the above poster, 1200 is too little for a program like Insanity, especially if you are following it to a T. There's been lots of success stories where people start losing when they up their calories a bit. Give it a try and see how it goes. Goodluck!0

http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
http://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html (I use this second one)
Determine your intake from those calculators.
Get your macros to 40/20/40 in carbs, fats, protein. Custom set it. My home, goals, custom.
Use the MFP app on your phone, it has macro features that the website does not.
Watch the weight come off from Insanity.
Start in the market, proceed to the kitchen, then victory in the gym and progress on the scale.
Just a cursory look at your intake shows me... TOO LITTLE PROTEIN for this program. Look at my diary for ideas. I am upcoming on week 6 of Insanity, round 1.0 -
I peeked at a couple of days on your food diary. Your eating habits seem fine and you seem to be getting anywhere from 1200-1500 calories a day. That's good. Maybe it's because you're eating back all of your exercise calories? I usually just eat back half of mine if that. Also, if you're not doing strength training it might be a good idea to begin incorporating that into your workout routine. Good luck!0

I don't net less than 1200 calories
that wasn't what we asked - is the 1,200 - 1,500 cal your NET or your GROSS? do you factor your exercise into MFP or not?
1200 - 1500 is probably too few calories while doing Insanity.0 -
I did 2 full months of Insanity and did an extra month of month 2 so 3 total. First did you take measurements? Thats the better way to tell whats going on. Second, everyone else is correct, if your net cals are only 1200-1500 its not enough. If your gross cals are only 1200-1500 that is not even close to being enough. I only lost 1 pound the 1st month. When I increased my cals the weight started to come off. More importantly I lost 4"inches off my waist and added muscle in other areas. I know it seems counter productive to increase your cals but I'm sure thats the problem.0
