With so many 'MFP scientists' out and about I was just curious as to how many actual scientist are lurking.
If so what is your field of study and current concentration.

Me - BS Biology and MS Biochemistry..currently working for a Notified Body with a specialty in In-Vitro Diagnostics.
And way too lazy to go for my PhD right now.

I have a BSc in Marine Biology, a PhD in EEB (evolution, ecology, behaviour) and post-doctoral training in neuroscience.

I work on the evolution of mechanisms underlying chronic pain and neural plasticity. It's fun.

    Hooray for science!

I have a BA RN (long story...and yes, these initials make me laugh).

I conduct research studies for Cystic Fibrosis (and previously did the same in Oncology and also Psychiatry). Mostly these are pharma trials, but I've also assisted in writing various protocols and have gone through the IND process with the FDA for an investigator-initiated study.

I am also a palaeoanthropology nerd and would love to do an MSc and PhD in palaeoanthropology.

I have a BSc in bio to offset my BSSW (cause there's just so much SCIENCE in social work) but am aiming to get my Master's in public health. Or go into pathology or parasitology. Diseases are just f***ing cool. Once I get off my *kitten*, anyway.
