Hi, I am brand new to this site and so far really like it. While I haven't really done "fad" diets like Atkins or Hollywood diets, I've attempted to lose weight a countless amount of times... with some success. I've lost a lot of weight, then gained some back, then lost again Hard as it is, I've been trying to make this more of a lifestyle change instead of just a diet. I fight hard and fall off the wagon sometimes and in the process I've been living life, so I'm taking that at its face value. Right now I'm looking for a new form or support and advice. I'm hoping by the end of the year to have lost a total of 100 pounds since I was at my heaviest (only 30 more pounds to go) So yeah... hi.

    it's those who make a lifestyle change that really succeed! this is a lifestyle change and anyone that cant see that will eventually fail. you seem to have a good attitude about this.

    I completely agree. I went into this as a gradual lifestyle change and it has worked far better than any diet could.

    Keeping the weight off is so much easier if it is your lifestyle which has changed and not just what you eat.
