Better to eat vegetables of protein before bed?

Basically what I said! I'm debating whether I ought to have a bit of cottage cheese now or carrots, and which one would be better before bed. I've done both and I've been alright either way, just wondering if there's a healthier option between the two :)

    In the grand scheme of things, assuming your total nutritional needs are being met each day (sum of everything you've consumed for the day), then it's not going to make a big difference. I'd go with personal preference on this. Choose whichever makes you happiest.

    It honestly doesn't matter when you eat what you eat compared to another time. It all goes to the same place and gets absorbed at the same rate regardless of the time you eat it at.
