Tofu Chocolate Mousse Recipes

Since bettering my diet in the area of desserts, what I crave most is something healthy good and CHOCOLATEY.
So, I found a Vegan Chocolate Tofu Mousse Recipe which has one lb. silken tofu and 7 oz
of 62% Cocoa semisweet chocolate. I whipped it up and something is missing. So, since I
am trying to stay with natural sweetners, I added 1/4 c. orange blossom honey.....still needed
some more sweet and so I then plain went to a 1/4 c. of white sugar. I liked it myself, but my
husband (didn't know it was even tofu, lol) says the sugar just covered up the bad......now I
thought it was on a good way to better, but well..............I want others ideas who have gone
down a similar path. Any suggestions on bettering what I began. It doesn't have to be vegan,
I just happened to have a vegan recipe I worked with probably because I have tofu here......
Thanks ahead of time :)

Maybe you can take a can of coconut milk (has to be whole) and put it in the refrigerate for at least overnight and then when ready to use, open the can and drain out the extra liquid. Put the coconut "cream" into a mixer and beat until it is whipped cream constistency and then add your melted chocolate!

I posted my recipe on here a couple of weeks ago. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/907511-chocolate-tofu-pudding

I would try a stronger flavoured sweetener to combine with the chocolate taste. Dark brown sugar, palm sugar, maple syrup, something like that. Orange blossom honey would be too delicate a flavour to work with the chocolate and white sugar doesn't add anything, just sweetness.

Showmm: I hadn't known about palm sugar and just did a little research............sounds like an awesome sugar to give a try with it's low glycemic index too :)

Also the Agave suggestion I have also considered, will give that a thought as well...........
